My New Life In Singapore

Hi guys…. It’s been a long time I didn’t blogging. Sorry for that…. Not tend to forget about my blog but quite busy since my final semester in University. Therefore, I’m here to announce that I’m graduate already and currently staying in Singapore. Well! I bet most of you won’t be shock to get this news since I already told you guys I’m going to get a job in Singapore.

Actually I have been hanging around Singapore about 2 months ago. I think some of you guys must be surprise that I was staying in Singapore more than 2 months. Well! 2 months wasn’t really so long for me because I was struggling in Singapore searching for job. As you guys know that to get a job in Singapore at this moment really is a challenge. Moreover, I bet you guys know that the competition between job hunting candidates in Singapore also very stressful. So… I’m so grateful that I able to get a job offer from one of the famous company in Singapore (even though the job scope quite different with my studies but still related.) Not to mentioned about job hunting at this moment… I will introduce to you guys my job hunting experience in Singapore in next blog but in this blog I just want to introduce my living place.

So, here you go to the place that I’m living currently. Before I introduce more about my living place, I should give you guys a brief introduction of Singapore transportation map so that you guys will be understand or know my living location. Here is the map.

Okay. I think everyone know that this is a MRT map. Yes. I’m here to telling you that transportation in Singapore is really convenience and my living place walk to MRT only take about 10 minute over. Everyone can see that in the map there have green line, red line, purple ling, yellow line and gray line. Well. I’m staying in the West Side of Singapore so my living location was located in Boon Lay (the last 3rd station in your left hand side of the green line.) Oh! Not forget to introduce to you all that most of Singapore MRT station there will be a shopping complex and library around (remember most of, not all~). So… In Boon Lay station, the shopping complex called “Jurong Point”. Below is the Jurong Point picture:

Then my living location is around Boon Lay that MRT station. If you want to visit me in Singapore, I could meet you guys in Jurong Point. After I introduce my living location, I should go further which is my rental place. Ops~ I should mention that Singapore has less landed house compare with Malaysia but they have a lot of apartment (HDB) and condominium. So, I have rent a room in Singapore which is staying with the owner. The owner is a Malaysian who holding Singapore Permanent Residence. In the house, there have 5 people include me – 3 ladies and 2 gentlemen. The owner sharing her room with her friend (girl), then a guy staying in one room by himself and I am sharing my room with my boyfriend. Now I am showing the structure of the apartment as below:

Once you open the apartment door, then you will entry the living room. This is the living room. You guys can see there have a Plasma TV, sofa, dining table and tea table in the living room. At the same time when you open the door, you will saw a corridor which reach to the end of the apartment.

Then, you guys walk straight will reach to the kitchen.

After kitchen, you will entry the laundry place which have the washing machine and the place for you to hanging your clothes.

When you walk pass kitchen, there have a bathroom in your left hand side. Although the bathroom doesn’t look so fantastic but it’s quite big already.

Beside the living room, there have 3 rooms. You guy guess which room belongs to me? Left side, Middle or Right side?

Got it? Haha~ My room belongs to Middle room.

After you guy visiting the apartment structure, so is time to introduce my room. Haha~ A bit paiseh to introduce my room because I have nothing inside my room. So, I only have one bed in my room because the other bed haven’t able deliver to my room yet. Then there have one wardrobe and a dustbin beside it. In the room, the owner provided me a makeup table which attached with a mirror.

Okay.... I already finished introduce my new room in Singapore. So... In the next blog, I will describe more details on my job hunting in Singapore and my current job in Singapore. See you guys next time.

Balloon Competition

Paiseh! Lately, I'm busy with my own stuff and assignment. So... Here I'm back again! I have discover some of the interesting news and I think that Lisa --- My Lovely Friend surely like this kind of competition that I'm sharing here because she is a lovely person who like wonderful things.

So... Can you guys guess what I'm going to share with you all today? Haha~ You guys must said: "Aiya! Why ask like that when you already stated in the title about Balloon Competition?" Hehe! I just want to give you guys to have some imagination before read through my blog. Well! No forget to remind you guys again... There is various types of Balloon Competition could be launch. I will try my best to share some unique Balloon Competition in the future. Do you guys still wondering what kind of Balloon Competition that I'm going to share today?

Did you guys see it? That's right... It was Hot Air Balloon Competition. Is it so pretty those Hot Air Balloon flow in the sky? For me, it was pretty and I love it very much. What do you guys think about it?

I wish I could be there or be one of the participant of the competition. That's really so good to flow in the air and enjoy the view from air. Anyone have the same common as I do?

Wah! It was amazing and very colourful. So... Allow me to provide more information for you guys about the Hot Air Balloon Competition.

Hot air balloon festivals are held annually in many places throughout the year, and give a chance for balloonists to participate in balloon races and display their balloons during evening balloon glows, and for the public to participate in the spectacle of many balloons gathered in one spot and to learn about the sport.

So... The picture that I'm sharing here are the USA Hot Air Balloon Festivals picture. I hope you guys love it and enjoy it. I really wish I have the opportunity to go oversea and participate in this kind of festival.

In order to provide more information about this festivals, I have surf the internet and found out a further information about this festivals in London.

The London Hot-Air Balloon Festival (London Balloon Festival) is an annual hot-air balloon festival held in London, Ontario. The festival, which was founded in 1983 and originally called the London Balloon Fiesta, takes place in Harris Park at the forks of the Thames River during Simcoe Day (first Monday in August) weekend. The current sponsor of the festival is Sundance Balloons. Spectators can get very close to the balloons, as there are no fixed barricades separating the launch area.

There are several special-shaped balloons which regularly attend, including the Canadian Flag, Maple Leaf, Tyrone the T-Rex.
In addition to the balloon launches and rides, the festival features various other attractions including a full amusement park midway, concerts, and a night glow. Musical acts featured at the 2006 festival include Canadian artists Sloan and Mobile, as well as London band Bobnoxious.

Oh gosh! I just love those balloon la!

Haha! Those balloon design very unique and the green one looks like Joanne.... So evil! Hehe!

Well! This Sun Hot Air Balloon looks like Lisa which always bring cheer to others. It's really cool!

I wish I own all this Hot Air Balloon. So creative and cute! Wah! That purple colour that one... Looks like Lisa soul mate ler... A bit scary~

It is so beautiful! Hmm... I was wonder when Malaysia will organise this?

At last, I also have a bad news for you guys which is quoted from Wikipedia about Sundance Balloons announced that the 2008 edition of the event would not be held following several consecutive years of financial losses associated with the festival.

I think it was a lost for people who can't participate for the festivals while the event would not be held anymore. Wish someone would kindly sponsor for this kind of festival so that everyone on this earth can enjoy the festival.

Mop or Dog???

Today I just received a email from my cousin. Once I open, I just freeze for few minutes and I was wonder to the picture I was stare at. There is one moment I think that my eyes got problem. Haha! Well~ Since the email content are so interesting, so I plan to share it here to all of you.

You guys sure wondering.... What kind of thing I going to share and make me freeze for one moment?

Actually, it was very cute and adorable. At first sight, you guys may just have the same perception as I do... You will be wondering... "Am I looking to an animal? Or it just a mop?"

Now .... Here are the picture

Did you guys see it? Izzit it looks like a mop? Especially there have a wooden stick right there.

Hmm... Really so curious la! What is that?

Oh gosh! It was an animal.

Look carefully~ It was a doggie.

Now, I'm suspect... Why the dog look like this? This is a real dog or not?

Yo~ This dog really so cool.... so outstanding!!!

Can you guys see it mouth was open? Finally I really believe it was a real dog. (-.-")...

But I'm still wonder why it looks so unique? Is it nature looks?

Anyone can tell me what kind of dog is this? I'm still in the curious situation...

I'm suspect this wasn't a real dog cause really so weird by seeing this picture. Haha!

I bet that when it doesn't move, people who doesn't know the existing of the dog will thought it just a mop. People who "accidently" step on it, then you be very shock because the thing can move and might be bite you. Hehe! Better look carefully during walking in the street and I think you also don't want to be terrify by unexpected things.

Here is the last picture. In this picture, it doesn't look like a mop anymore. I think it look like more to gigantic insect. Hehe!

A Fantastic Girl Who Living in Jungle ---- Tippi

Hihi! Today I want to share with you all is a true story. Do you guys ever watch a movie called "Mean Girls" which is a 2004 American teen comedy film. This movie is based in book, Queen Bees and Wannabes, directed by Mark Waters and starring Lindsay Lohan. In order to help you to recall the movie, I have attached the movie poster as below:

The synopsis for this movie is:

Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) is a 15-year-old girl who has spent most of her life in Africa, where she was home-schooled by her zoologist parents. When her family relocates to the United States, Cady finds herself attending a high school in suburban Illinois, where she gets a crash course in the various sub-strata of the student body: the jocks, the cheerleaders, the stoners, the "cool" kids, and so on. Much to her surprise, Cady finds herself embraced by a clique of rich and popular girls known to outsiders as "the Plastics," led by Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert), and Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried). While Cady is grateful for her new friends, it doesn't take long for her to realize how manipulative they can be, and she soon discovers she's violated an unwritten law when she goes out on a date with Aaron (Jonathan Bennett), who is charming, good looking...and Regina's former boyfriend. Well! After you guys read this movie synopsis, I bet you guys know that what I was going to share with. No doubt! Yet, I'm sharing the true story about a little girl who is real character who spend her lifetime in Africa with her family. Not forget to mentioned that she is a
French Girl.

The story began with the 18-year-old French girl ---- Tippi Degre, born after their parents have been with photographers in inaccessible jungle life in Africa, elephant, leopard Africa as a "brother" and "Friends."Tippi Degré’s parents moved from France to the wilderness of Namibia when she was just a little baby - for 10 years, Tippi wandered the busy barefoot, making friends with all sorts of wild animals like leopards, mongoose, baboons, elephants, and snakes.

Her playground was the hills and the harsh desert tribe lands of southern Africa; as the family wandered the bush land, Tippi picked up all kinds of friends – like Abu, a five ton (28-year-old) elephant she calls “her brother”. She always riding on Abu nose, so that Abu will take her travel around.

Tippi always lie on the bed together with a cheetah. In the past, there have a cheetah who had to urinate Tippi boddy to show affectionate.

South Africa's ostrich --- Linda always allow Tippi climb at her back as a horse, and dance together with Tippi.

According to Tippi mother ---Sylvie, Tippi were only have two injuries cause by wild animals. The first time a ferret bites her nose. Then another injuries are when Tippi play with a baboons, suddenly the baboons was getting mad because of jealousy so it had tear Tippi hair. In fact, baboons and Dipi was a good friend, who also share in the milk bottle.

Tippi was stay in Africa for 10 years until she was 10-year-old only return to the civilized society. Now, Tippi wish to be as Africans and hopefully to get the Namibia passport or even want to be Namibia ambassador.

Tippi was learning to archery the bow. At present, Sylvie and her husband have divorced, and the Tippi was a bachelor's degree holder and entered the graduate film student at the University of Paris. She is now facing a concrete jungle. Tippi was felt very lost when she back to Paris, even though her mother have accustomed her house according to the Africans decorative layout.

She is eating the local food

Tippi really is a fantastic girl . When I watch the "Mean Girls", I thought it wasn't real and hardly can believe that there is someone who really can be friend with wild animal. I really impress the lifestyle she had and the amazing thing she ever experience. I believe this is a wonderful experience as people going back to the natural and cope with natural like our forefathers.

Piggy Competition

Well~ Do you ever saw pig swimming?

I could said that most of the people don't even know that pig know how to swim.

Actually, those pigs were joining on competition. In this competition, there have around 50 lovely pigs took part in the race, hurdles, ring drilling, swimming, diving, and other high-profile events for the tourists.

Did you saw those pigs were swimming in a line? Well~ They all very organise... That's really awesome and I bet most of you don't even saw this kind of competition.

Wow~ Could you see those pigs were drilling in the pig-lap race.

This pig competition actually was launched in Anhui Hefei Flower Park. There have five species of wild boar piglets were carried out diving, swimming, running, drills, lap race and so on.

Oh gosh! The pig was diving.... Did you see those spray?

Wah~ They really race so hard la! I was wonder... Izzit the food was waiting they at the end of the race? Amazing to see them racing!

I couldn't believe that pigs also will participate in sports. I have to said those pigs were not stupid and lazy as what normally people describe... They still have the energy to participate in this kind of competition. So people, please change some of your mindset about the characteristic of the piggy.... Hehe!
